She was very proud of you Lance and we last met you at her retirement party. Please accept our condolences on the loss of your Mum and we're sorry that we can't be there. On behalf of Pastor Dr. LeQuita Porter, the Ministerial Team, the Diaconate Ministry and the entire Church family at the East Preston United Baptist Church, we would like to extend our heartfelt sympathy to you on the passing of your loved one, Sis. Betty Sparks. Sis. Betty was certainly one of a kind. A very vibrant woman who loved life and lived it to the fullest. It was indeed a joy to watch her during the Church Services as she publicly praised her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ with her whole heart. Although we will miss her earthly presence immensely, the precious memories we have of her will remain in our hearts forever. It is our prayer that the Lord will continue to show you His tender mercies, strength and peace in the days and months ahead. May He also surround you with the love and comfort of family and friends and grant you peace. God, Bless You All. 2 Timothy 4:7 “I have fought a good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith” Sent with love and remembrance, Sister Ruby Williams, Clerk East Preston United Baptist Church

My sincere sympathy and prayers to Betty’s entire family and friends. I worked with Betty at CRA, not directly but spent many break times together discussing many topics of the day. We had lots of laughs and she is someone I will never forget. Always impeccably dressed and turned out, fashion and lack of it was often a topic of discussion too. I know she loved her family deeply and spoke of them warmly and often. I’m sure she is in heaven and will watch over you now as she did while she was here. God Bless. Maxine

To: Lance (Jaqueline), Daisy, Alma, Henry (Sarah), Harold (Gail), George (Paula), grandchildren and great grandchildren. We would like to convey our deepest sympathy on the passing of Betty. Sorry I cannot be with you during this time. You know that I would be there if I could. It is sometimes difficult to find the words to offer comfort during the loss of a loved one. It is even more difficult when it comes so soon after the passing of other family members. Betty had a bubbly personality and was a happy go lucky person. She enjoyed socializing with family and friends. Whenever I would see her we would chat and she would display her signature laugh. There are so many great memories that you can all hold in your hearts that will last a life time. God will give you the comfort that you will need during the challenging times. Praying for you. In Deepest Sympathy & Love, Cousin Nancy Sparks & Randy Downey

To all of Betty's Family. My condolences to each of you. I worked in the Halifax Office with Betty and I have not seen her since she retired. I did the same shortly after her and moved permanently from Halifax to Tracadie. I just wanted you to know how much I enjoyed your Mom/Sister in meetings and in social situations. I loved her openness, confidence and her laughter. I am a better person for knowing her. May God bless each of you with peace knowing that she now sits with the angels. Anne Marie
