Obituaries

Age 72 of Beaverbank, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family, at the QEII Health Sciences Center on August 18, 2017. Born in Halifax, she was the daughter of the late Jessie and Gordon Boutilier

Chris is survived by her devoted husband Gary, sons Darren, Greg (Melanie), Shawn, Mark (Nicole), Michael (Patricia) and Jeremy; step-daughters Darlene and Carla; brothers, Glen, Gordon, Terry and sister, Marie. As well as 19 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Chris had a very creative side and her family and friends enjoy many of her creations to this day. Chris thoroughly enjoyed her last 4 seasons at Parkville Campground making some wonderful friendships there along the way. She cherished all of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be remembered by many for her kind and generous ways, always willing to lend a hand.

Christina’s courageous battle has come to a peaceful end. May her spirit find eternal rest.

A celebration of life memorial reception will take place Saturday, August 26 at the Beaverbank Kinsac Lions Club, 40 Sandy Lake Rd. Beaverbank, NS. at 2pm.
