Age 85 years, of Halifax, passed away June 20, 2017, in Northwood Centre. She was a daughter of the late Stanley and Alice Martin (of Victoria, B.C.). Shirley was predeceased by husband, Donald; daughter, Delores and siblings, Dorothy, Murray and Nelson. She is survived by her son, Glenn (Wanda) and granddaughter, Katelyn as well as nieces and nephews in Nova Scotia and British Columbia. Cremation has taken place with Committal Service at a later date. A celebration of Shirley's life will be held Sunday, June 25, in The Salvation Army Fairview Citadel, 50 Gesner Street, Halifax.
