Obituary For Terry Glen King

Aged 54, from Dartmouth. Passed June 27, 2020.

It is with broken hearts and great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved husband, father, son, brother and uncle.

He was the son of the late Dudley and Lottie(Bernard) King of Woodside. He is survived by his partner in life Cindy(Cairns), sons Brandon, Evan and his daughter Alyson. Brothers Rickey (Lesia) King, Dudley (Leigh) King, Danny King. Sisters Elaine(Bryan) King, Janice King, Tina (Garry) Dibbin, Lynn (Marty) King. Also by his many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Terry was a huge family man and an amazing Dad. His children were his life, his daughter, was the sparkle in his eye. Our dog, Max, was his shadow who will forever miss their playtime and daily trips to Tim's. It wouldn't be right not to mention his love of marijuana because anyone who knew him, knew it was a big part of his life. He was a very hard worker, a flooring installer by trade, who took great pride in his work. He enjoyed playing Kings Crib, washer toss and a good game of darts with his nephews and his many friends.

A celebration of his life may be announced at a later date.

No words can express the loss we feel. The hole in our hearts will never be filled. He was truly loved and will be forever missed.

So very sorry to hear this news. Very tragic. So many fond memories of Terry from the age of 7 in Woodside. He painted my fathers truck back then. He always took pride in what he did. I know that he loved his children very much and that they meant the world to him. May all his family be at peace one day ❤️ Because the loss is so hard to take. Bless the entire King family and Max. May you Rest In Peace Terry.

Nothing but good memories of Terry. He was always smiling and quick to share a kind word. I remember being a little kid running around my Grandmothers house on Mason Street and there was always movement at the King homestead to be seen and heard over the fence. Late nights partying and laughing are a sign of good times. They had a very special dynamic and Terry wore that in his smile and good nature. Rest easy Terry. Gone way too early.

Terry King.. A Woodside legend. Everyone knew him, most of us loved him. Those that didnt, well.. They must have done him wrong at some point. He attended many a party at the Helpard house. And always had your back, no matter what was going down. Terry was an absolutely amazing, unique and dependable guy. I wish I could have seen you later in your life to witness that phase in your life. You were a mentor to many, and a man many looked up to. My condolences to your wife, kids, and everyone who loved you. You are memorialized in our hearts. As real as it got.. Sleep, my friend.

Stand strong against this unfortunate, untimely event in all of your lives. Your World lost a smile that can't be replaced. I hope one day his smile will bring a smile on your face before it brings a tear to your eye. Sincerely, Mike and Bette LeClair.
