Wilfred (Bill) Dean Weagle, 84, of Goodwood, Passed away peacefully at the QE2 on November 20. Born in Bridgewater NS he was the son of the late Ernest and Grace (Croft) Weagle. Bill served in the Merchant Marine and was a member of the SIU for over forty years. He then went on to supply fresh fish to local community markets. One of his favorite pastimes was fishing. Bill was an avid mall-walker, enjoyed bowling, playing cards and making lifelong friends in these endeavors. His green thumb shone through with his amazing Black-Eyed Susans and Sunflowers. He quite enjoyed animals, especially dogs and his friendly neighborhood pheasants. Bill is survived by his long-time companion Denyse, daughters Sherma Richards, Valerie (Paul) Bowdridge, grandchildren Matthew, Joseph, Kaitlyn, Jessica, great-grandchildren Christian, Hunter, Brandan, Haley, Caden, and many nieces and nephews. Bill was predeceased by his former wife Theresa (Arsenault) Seymour. Special thanks to the staff of the QE2, 8.4 for all their care and kindness. A celebration of life will take place on Nov 24 at the Dartmouth Seventh Day Adventist Church, 35 Lakecrest Dr., Dartmouth, 11 am, reception to follow.
