I was saddened to hear of Carol's death. I taught with Carol at Robert Kemp Turner School. She was adventurous, athletic, helpful, hard-working, committed to her students, and kind. May your happy memories of Carol comfort you during this time. God bless.

My condolences to Carol's family. She taught my daughter (Erin Ingram) in grade 5 at Robert Kemp Turner Elementary School in Cole Harbour in the 1980's. She was an excellent teacher. Caring, observant, compassionate and extremely interested in the welfare and education of her students. She will be missed by many.

I spent much of the 80's sea kayaking with Carol, and we were good friends, part of a whole gang of outdoor people. Although I did not keep up with her over the years, I have many fond memories of wilderness beaches and Carol's lively company! May her memory be a blessing to all. Jon Grant

Carol was a an integral part of our small part of the street we lived in for 30 or so years. She was loving, decent, kind, helpful, and a very good friend. Though she did not suffer fools gladly, she was the best. I and our neighbours have missed since she was spirited away from her home without a good bye. I know she is now at peace, without confusion and without unhappiness. I will remember. Carol, my friend.
