Obituary For Phillip "Alan" Boutilier

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Phillip “Alan” Boutilier, at the Dartmouth General Hospital on November 30, 2022, at the age of 73.

Alan will be remembered for the abundance of love he had for family, especially his grandchildren. His children and grandchildren meant the world to him. In his earlier years he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends hunting and fishing. He loved teaching his boys how to work on cars and snow mobiles. Throughout his career Alan worked in many of the auto auctions in Halifax and Dartmouth. In more recent years he enjoyed drives with “Deb” to Terrance Bay and visiting his grandchildren.

Alan was born in Halifax, NS to the late Vernon and Geraldine Boutilier. He was happily married to his wife Deborah (Bailey) for 47 years. The proud father of Shawn (Donna), Nick (Stephanie), and Lisa; grandfather to Emma, Karli, Aiden, Shelby, and Brandon. He was predeceased by his brothers Larry and Bruce.

Alan will be never forgotten by those who loved him. A private graveside burial will take place at a later date.
