Obituary For Agnes "Aggie" Anderson

It is with heavy hearts and with deep sadness that our family announces the passing of our loving Mother Agnes Anderson. Age 73, of East Uniacke, Mom passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at the QEII Hospital. Born in Mushaboom, February 21, 1945. Mom was a daughter of the late Robert & Esther Boutilier. Mom's first love was for her children and only grandson. Her love was always unconditional. However, her heart was broken when she lost her eldest son. She loved cooking, baking (date squares, bread, rolls, pies and cakes). Mom also enjoyed putting on family dinners. She was truly "one of a kind". The love of Lewis Lake and her good neighbours of the Cove was ongoing. Mom and Raymond enjoyed gardening together. They would have been more successful had it not been eaten by the animals. For the last 15 years Mom was a member of the Fairview Legion, Branch 142. She loved dancing and meeting new people; she loved her country music but Elvis was always her King! At 17 she started working at grocery stores and ended with Sobeys (Sackville) where she retired. Survived by: her children Randy, Dartmouth; Jennifer, Enfield; grandson Anthony, Halifax. Raymond Pearson, companion, was an important part of her life. Brothers: Kenneth (Carolyn) Moncton; Vernon (Shirley) Eastern Passage. Sisters: Shirley, Halifax; Julie, Edmonton, Lola (Pat) Upper Musquodoboit. Brothers in law: Lou Walsh, Ernest (Kaye) Anderson, Gary (Donna) Anderson. Survived by: Many Aunts, Uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by: husband, Victor Sr., son, Victor Jr., sister, Elva Walsh. Cremation has taken place. There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date. We want to thank you all for reaching out to us at this sad time. Donations can be made to Patient Services of the Canadian Cancer Society. Online condolences can be sent to: donaldkwalkerfd@gmail.com or via website: www.donaldkwalker.ca.

Jennifer and Randy, We were deeply saddened to read of your mothers passing. I worked with Aggie for many years and she was a pleasure to work with and always a great worker. She always took a personal interest in my family as well and when my wife came into the store she would always stop and say Hello and ask about our boys. After retirement I would often get a Christmas card from her with a nice note. I know she will be missed. Our Deepest Sympathy . Bill & Sherral Bowman
