Obituary For Bonnie (Tootsie) Lynn Downey

BONNIE LYNN (TOOSTIE) Downey 52, North Preston went home to with her Lord and Saviour on May 12, 2018 surrounded by her loving family At QE11 (VG) site. She was the daughter of the late Yvonne (Provo) and Larkey Downey. Bonnie loved plants and playing Seven Card Rummy. She is survived by her daughters Lynnisha, Martika, Shannez, and JaQueea all of North Preston, Clorisa (Jason), Dartmouth, Danielle, Montreal, Dyrekia, North Preston, Dasha, Sackville and Moisha, (Nathaniel) Dartmouth. Though she had no sons she also had those who she called her own; Brandon, Samando, Geil, Donovan, Tobin, Moreldo and Juikeithen. Brothers; Lloyd(Jennifer), Dartmouth, Dea, David (Ronalda) East Preston, Cory Dartmouth. Sisters, Venna Mae, North Preston, Belinda (Francis), Dartmouth, Nena, Toronto Maddy (Ricky), Heather (Wade) both of East Preston, Clara Dartmouth, Gail (Paul) Ottawa, Darlene, Angela, North Preston. 25 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren. Special children Kaylee Secord, Shaykita and Tyreeze. Godparents Delorise and Presley, Godchildren Quentrel and Shamyria, many nieces and nephews whom she loved. She is predeceased by maternal grandparents John and Sarah Provo and paternal grandparents Amos and Bertha Downey, brothers Keith and Blaine. Arrangements are entrusted to Donald K. Walker Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on Friday May 18, 2018 at Saint Thomas Baptist Church officiated by Pastor Lloyd Grant. Viewing at 12:00PM and service to follow at 1:00PM.
