Obituaries

With deep sadness, the family wish to announce the passing of “Rollie” Roland Gordon Davidson on Saturday August 17, 2019 of Tidnish, N.S. He was the son of the late Sherman and Beulah(Laing) Davidson.

Besides his parents, Roland was predeceased by his loving wife Holly, his sister Lorena Connick and brother Bruce. Roland will be missed by sons Gordon, Robin, Raymond and daughters Denise and Leanne and his 7, soon to be 8 grandchildren. Sister Trudy Weir(Nelson), and brothers Greg( Winnie) and Gary(Dodie).

Roland was well loved in the community, he served as a volunteer firefighter for a period of time. He loved the woods and the family camp on Goose Lake. He had a passion making ceramics, one he shared with his wife. He was always happy to lend a helping hand in the community.
