Donald D. Skeir Jr. who was affectionately known to everyone as “Bobo”. The loss of someone dear to us is never easy but take comfort in these words found in Isaiah 41:10, “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous hand”. Bro. “Bobo” will be remembered as a very kind person leaving behind a host of friends and family members who will miss him dearly but will never forget him. Although we are saddened by his loss, we can also rejoice knowing that he has finished his course and by faith we believe, that the Lord has welcomed him into His home in Heaven. Know that our thoughts and prayers go out to you in your time of bereavement. Please remember that God is our help and strength. HE will wrap HIS comforting arms around you all in the days ahead and keep you close. May the precious soul of Bro. “Bobo” rest in eternal peace. My Grandfather, Donald Skeir was a gracious man. Loved and respected by many. He was a kind hearted man. He put others before himself. He was courteous and had the utmost respect for everyone. All of his friends and family would say the same. Me and my Grandfather had a special bond, even though we didn't talk to each other everyday there was something that nobody else had, between us. Often on Sundays after church we would go to his house to visit him, my mother, my sister and I, joyful and spending time together. The wonderful memories we had will be cherished forever and always. The passing of my grandfather was not expected whatsoever. Everyday we walk out of our homes without thinking of what could happen in the next hour, we take all of those beautiful memories for granted. The Goodbyes you tell your family members mean the world because it could be the last goodbye you ever tell them. We are here at my grandfather, Donald Skeir's funeral to celebrate his life because that's exactly what he wants us to do, we are saddened by his death but we had to celebrate his life, God knew that he did what he had to do and it was his time. He's right here with us right now hugging each and everyone of us. Grandpa you will never be forgotten, I Love You. Your Grand-daughter, Jahniah . XOX
