She is also survived by brothers Garnet (Jean) Haley, Cyril (Bonnie) Haley, George (Joanne) Haley, Terry (Nancy) Haley, and Sister-in-law Francoise Haley. Brothers-in-law Lewis (Wanda) MacNeil, John Jr. (Mary) MacNeil. Father and Mother-in-law John Sr. and Sadie MacNeil, and numerous Nieces and Nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Thomas (Tommy) MacNeil, brother Frank Haley, parents Garnet and Mildred Haley, and nephew Glen MacNeil. Cremation has taken place. A gravesite service will take place on Saturday, August 24, 2019 at 11am at Holy Cross Cemetary on Johnson Road in North Sydney, with Father Dennis Lamey officiating. Following the service, all are welcome to attend a reception at the Millville Community Centre, 270 Millville Highway. We would like to thank Dr. Joan Salah, the doctors, nurses, and palliative care team at the QEII Health Sciences Centre, and the doctors, nurses, and volunteers at Hospice Halifax for showing such great care and compassion during this difficult time. In-memoriam donations can be made to Hospice Halifax at www.hospicehalifax.ca.

“Ma” lived a good life filled with much love and laughter. She will be missed by all who had the pleasure to know her.

If my parting has left a void, Then fill it with remembered joy. A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss, Ah, yes, these things too I will miss. Be not burdened with times of sorrow, I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow. My Life’s been full, I savored much.
