Obituary For Ronald ("Bones") Gerald Conley

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ronnie, age 37 of Dartmouth (formerly of Shubenacadie). He passed away peacefully on December 1, 2018 at the Dartmouth General with his wife and a good friend by his side, after a long, courageous fight with cancer. Ronnie was well known to many as "Bones". He was fearless & stubborn and well loved by all who knew him. He was passionate about his family, loved being surrounded by friends, was a lover of fishing (especially bass) & the outdoors and was a jack of all trades. Predeceased by grandparents Lewis Conley, Shirley Hines, Clifford Isenor and Sonny Hines. He is survived by his wife Amanda (denHollander) Conley, Dartmouth, four beautiful children Jaslynn (Sonya Veno, mother), Truro, Xander, Maddox & Jaxon, Dartmouth, parents Gerald & Carol (Hines) Conley, Shubenacadie, brothers Michael (Beth) Conley, New Brunswick & Matthew (Kellie) Conley, Truro, grandmother Anna Hawkins, British Columbia, many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and close friends. Many thanks go out to Ronnie's care team and the family & friends who have helped to care for him over the past two years. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Donald K. Walker Funeral Directors. A celebration of Ron's life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 111, 42 Mill Village Rd Shubenacadie on Friday December 7th at 2pm. Donations in his memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
