Obituaries

Age 86 of Halifax passed away peacefully on January 9th at St Vincent's Nursing Home. Born on December 9, 1932 in Halifax, Harry was the son of the late William and Alice Wiswell. He was predeceased by his brothers Robert, Everett and Fred, sisters Florence, Marjorie and Bernice. He is survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Harry was an avid supporter of the Montreal Canadians and the New York Yankees. He was a whiz at sports trivia, a movie buff and was always keen to discuss the news of the day. Harry was a kind and generous man and had a good sense of humour. He enjoyed visiting with his family and friends and loved bringing gifts to those he cared for. He will be deeply missed by all who loved him.

Heartfelt thanks to the staff of St Vincent's Nursing Home for their care and compassion. Cremation has taken place. At a later date there will be a celebration of Harry's life.
