Obituary For Daniel Brenton Page

It is with immense sadness that we announce the passing of Daniel “Brenton” Page, 87, of Spryfield, on December 29th, 2020.

Brenton was born in 1933 to the late Daniel and Ada (McCulloch) Page in Noel Road, Nova Scotia. In 1957, he married wife Marie (Harvey) Page and later welcomed daughter Debbie. After thirty-four years, Brenton retired from his long career at Canada Post.

Summers were enjoyed at Piggott Lake at the family cottage that he proudly built and maintained himself. He was involved in the Piggott Lake Road Association and was also a member of the Emmanuel Anglican Church for many years. He loved woodworking and gardening and sharing many of his creations and harvests with family and friends. He enjoyed bowling, traveling in his earlier years, finishing his daily paper and puzzles, and listening to country music. Special occasions with family were always cherished, celebrating each birthday and holiday. Brenton loved to spoil his daughter and grandchildren and was very fond of his furry companion, Tub.

Brenton was predeceased by parents Daniel and Ada Page, wife Marie, ten brothers and sisters and son in law Reggie. He will be missed by daughter Debbie Hillier, granddaughters Sarah (Darren Ide) Hillier and Crystal (Jeff) Boutilier, great-granddaughter Emily, brother in law Robert (Ruth) Harvey, and many nieces and nephews.

Special thanks to the staff at the Victoria General Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations in Brenton’s memory can be made to the Emmanuel Anglican Church (Spryfield) or the Canadian Diabetes Association. A private family gathering will take place at a later date
