My sincere condolences. Capt Nicholas was the CO of 529 Sqn from the time I joined in 1976 until I Made Capt in the 90's. His contribution (along with Mrs Nicholas and Doug Jr) to the Sqn and the cadet program was extraordinary. I am honored and proud to continue his passion for the cadet program. And owe a great dept of gratitude to him for the Officer and person I am today. Fond memories of playing floor hockey with him at cadets Friday night sports. Capt G R Bowser CD

Sorry to hear that my cousin, Doug, passed away. I will miss our regular telephone conversations. I always told him to hop on a plane & fly out to visit us in Saskatchewan; he would have enjoyed time on the farm. Thank you to Gary and Dale for looking out for him these past few years.
