Obituary For Robert "Bob" Allen Braby

Robert (Bob) Allen Braby of MacGrath Lake, Upper Rawdon Nova Scotia passed away at home on May 26 2022 at the age of 78.

Born in January 29 1944 in Kitchener Ont, he was the son of James and Marcella Braby.

In his early years he enjoyed working on cars especially high performance engines. In 1970 he started his own business (he always told people 1969 sounded better). Bob was a very famous mopar guy and sponsored many race cars in his career. Later he worked for RPM Performance and Baker Racing ending his career with the last car he built winning a race at the NHRA US Nationals.

In the mid 90's Bob moved to Upper Rawdon where he spent his remaining years years doing things he enjoyed.

Bob is survived by his children David (Melinda) BC, Robert Amherst, Dale (Niki) Oxford, Debbie (Charles) Hawker Springhill, and Melissa, many grandchildren and great grandchildren and longtime good friend Art Hickey and family.

Bob was predeceased by his 2 brothers James and Paul, granddaughter Michelle (RJ) and great grandchildren Madison, Ryder, Jaxson and CJ

There will be no visitation or service as per Bobs wishes.

    Deepest condolences to Bob's family. We didn't know him well, but thought he was such a nice friendly man when we would see and chat with him around the subdivision.

    RIP old friend, so many memories in Toronto and Nova Scotia, alot of good times, sad times, We shared so many special friends, wonder if you ever forgave me for throwing out your treasurers, see you on the other side.

    I was shocked to hear of Bob"s passing. I remember the many visits there were between his place to Noel and Kennetcook the late James Crouse and myself had with him over the years from 2006 to about 2018.
