Obituary For Richard Walden Cooper

WE ARE SAD TO ANNOUNCE THE DEATH OF RICHARD WALDEN COOPER ON MARCH 21, 2024. RICHARD GREW UP ON THE EASTERN SHORE. HE WORKED FOR TWENTY YEARS AS A PLUMBER THEN FOR TWENTY-FIVE YEARS IN ENVIRONMENTAL CLEAN-UP ACROSS CANADA AND THE USA. HE WAS PROUD THAT HE WAS ONE OF ONLY A HANDUL OF PEOPLE IN THE COUNTRY WHO COULD DO THAT WORK. HE LOVED HIS CATS SNOWY AND BELLA. HE COULD USUALLY BE FOUND TAKING HIS VITAMIN O WHILE FISHING AT THE ROCK AT ALBRO LAKE OR HANGING OUT WITH THE CAPTAIN. HE WILL BE MISSED BY HIS FAMILY AND HIS LONG-TIME FRIEND AND CO-WORKER, JAMIE, IN ONTARIO AND HIS BUDDIES AT THE PARKSIDE AND THE TILTED TAP. HE WAS PREDECEASED BY HIS PARENTS, ELSIE (FOWLER) AND MERRILL COOPER. HE IS SURVIVED BY SONS CHAD AND QUENTEN AND DAUGHTER HOPE. EX-WIFE ANNE, AND ESTRANGED WIFE IRENE. ALSO HIS BROTHERS GORDON (IRIS), CHARLES, JOHN (MARILYN), ROBIE (JUANITA), LARRY AND HIS SISTERS ROSALIE (WARREN), DEBBIE (DONNIE).

    Richard was an amazing man. He thought me and my brother how to fish when we where little. I always called him grandpa Richard. He will be missed dearly
