Obituary For Florence "Aggie" Agatha Boudreau

Florence Agatha “Aggie” Boudreau (Parker) passed away at the age of 87 on September 22, 2021. Aggie was born in Canso, NS in 1933 to Vincent and Sadie (O’Hearn) Parker. Aggie loved to play cards at local card parties and spend time with family and friends. She always loved listening to music at the Newfoundland Club and also was a long time member of the Local Somme Branch Legion in Dartmouth. Her favourite pastimes were watching the Toronto Blue Jays games (winning or losing although she preferred the wins), doing her puzzles and reading her newspapers. She was very happy to be in her own home and took pride in being fiercely independent.

Aggie is survived by and will be missed greatly by her children, Regis (Arthur) Hill, Kenny (Debbie) Boudreau, Lorraine (Rodney) Cole, and Margaret Jollimore. Grandchildren, Ryan (Ben), Alisha (Derek), Anna, Anthony, Natalie (Frank), Derek (Katherine) Katie (Jeremy), Stephen, Ian (Veronica) and great grandchildren, Cameron, Taylor, Jackson, George, June and Tucker. She will also be missed by her siblings Patrick Parker, Marion (Fred) Snow, Lorraine Walker and Dennis (Fern) Parker. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph and brothers Danny, Sylvester, and Jimmy Parker and son-in-law Roger Jollimore. We would like to thank all of mom’s doctors, nurses and our local pharmacy who all took great care to treat our mother with kindness and the utmost respect. She will be dearly missed by family and friends.

In lieu of flowers please bestow an act of kindness to someone. Mom would love that!

Cremation has taken place and entrusted to Donald K. Walker. A graveside interment will be held in keeping with strict Covid guidelines. A mass will be dedicated to her at a later date.

Lorraine and Family. Our deepest sympathy for your loss. Your mom loved coming to the club and listen to the music and watch you and Rodney dance. It's always hard losing your mom, however, she is just beginning another chapter in eternal life, till we meet again. Take care. Sharon and Stan Aitkens (from the Newfoundland Club.)
