Remembering Cathy Anderson: A Life Full of Love and Laughter

On June 27, 2025, our beloved Catherine (Cathy) Anderson took her final journey, slipping away peacefully with a heart full of love, leaving behind her devoted husband of 47 years, Robie Anderson Jr., and their feisty little furball, Candy who will surely miss her snuggles and treats.

Cathy was predeceased by her loving mother and her cherished grandfather, who surely welcomed her with open arms.

Born in October, 1955, Cathy (Yeoman) grew up surrounded by the love of her mom and her adored grandfather. She was the apple of his eye and he laid the foundation for her gentle spirit and the warm and compassionate person she became.

Cathy and Robie’s love story was a grand road trip that lasted 47 years! As a long-haul trucker, Robie was often behind the wheel, with Cathy beside him, navigating and exploring the vast landscapes of Canada and the USA. The duo shared countless memories on the road, along with their beloved pooch, Hoochie, who was always up for an adventure (and a few good snacks).

When Cathy wasn’t busy jumping from one province or state to another, she was the heart of their home—a stay-at-home wife and "mom" to many furry companions over the years, each one stealing her heart (and her lap).

With her quiet and shy demeanor, Cathy found comfort in cozy moments at home, surrounded by those she loved. She delighted in friendly gatherings with a coffee, a few cigarettes, a friendly game of cards, and an occasional scratch-off lottery ticket (making her the reigning queen of small but satisfying victories!). Cathy had an undeniable passion for television, particularly the show, Will Trent and the long-running series NCIS and was not shy about expressing her dismay when Gibbs left the show.

After Robie’s retirement, the couple settled into a beautifully quiet and loving life in Dartmouth, where they continued to enjoy each other’s company, indulging in simple pleasures and preserving the joy of togetherness. Cathy’s spirit will forever resonate in the hearts of those who knew her—her laughter, warmth, and unwavering love remembered fondly.

As we say goodbye to Cathy, we remember her for her gentle spirit, her warm heart, and her knack for finding joy in life’s simple pleasures. While she may have left us, her love will continue to light our hearts and inspire us to find beauty in every fleeting moment.

There will be no Service and Cremation has taken place.
