It's with heavy hearts that we announce our father, Barry Walters, has joined our mother, Dollena, in heaven on May 12, 2025.

Born in Halifax in February 1951 Barry was predeceased by his loving Wife Dollena Walters; parents Harley and Ellen Walters, sister Shelly LeBlanc, brother Raymond (Jean Walters) all from Eastern Passage. Barry was survived by his brother Anson (Karen)Walters, sister Colleen Bechard, brother in law Cecil Irving (Elizabeth), Barry’s children Coreena (Fred) Lanteigne, Elton Walters (Jennifer Wells) , Laura Walters (Mack Fraser) ,grandchildren Hailey Lanteigne, Taylor, Brooklyn, Emma Walters, Gregory Walters (Ashley Gaetz) Howard (Rachel Marsh), Roger, Josh (Jessica Apestalguy), Walters (Pace) Chelsea, Corey Irving and great grandchildren Serenity and River.

Barry had a long career as a plumber and enjoyed working as a karaoke host, he loved all music! To relax Barry could be found at the Bingo hall.
Barry's greatest joy was his family and friends and loved to make people laugh, he was always seen with a smile on his face, and a giggle whenever he spoke.

The family would like to thank the VG ICU-3A unit for all that they they have done to help Barry and the family through this difficult time.

Cremation has taken place and Barry's celebration of life will be at 7 PM on May 24 th at the Hearthstone hotel, 313 Prince Albert Road in Dartmouth
