Obituary For Charles Edward Marshall

It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our dear husband and father and papa, Charles Edward Marshall, age 77, of Halifax and formerly of Lower Sackville.

Born January 13, 1946 in Bridgetown, he was the son of the late Horace and Bernie Marshall. After a long and successful career as a sales representative for Vachon, he spent his retirement years playing darts, cards, pool, traveling, and enjoying good times with his many friends and family. A quiet man, Charlie was known for his kindness, generosity, and great sense of humour.

He is survived by his loving wife Wendy (nee Publicover), son Brian (Michelle McCarty), Toronto, son Greg (Janette Estavilla), granddaughters Tara, Kayla, and Mya Marshall of Vancouver, and very special niece Heather Stanick Joseph. He was predeceased by his brothers Irving and Lloyd Marshall and sister Frances Hawkins.

Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or funeral service. The family would like to acknowledge the exceptional support and compassion provided by the ALS Society of NB and NS and the team of medical professionals who gave him the best of care during his brave fight with this disease.
