Ernest E Lindsay passed away this 25th of November, 2025 at the age of 91.

In dads early years he played for the Bedford Barons hockey team in winter and played baseball in the summer. He was such an avid ball player that he did not have the time to learn to swim even though he lived a stones throw from the ocean.

In his later years golf was his sport of choice. He played the game until the age of 90. His working life was spent at the DND dockyard in Dartmouth as a machinist. On a sunny day you might see dad and Ollie head out for an afternoon drive. Dad loved to drive his car.

He will be greatly missed by his daughter Sonja (Cameron), grandson Corey, son Ryan and his loyal sidekick Ollie. He is also survived by nephews Jeff and Scott Boutilier. He was predeceased by wife Jeanette, sister Alma and brother in law Cecil.

There is to be no service upon dads request. A quiet, thoughtful man who loved his family fiercely. You can't say better than that.
