Obituary For Tammy Lynn Fillmore

With heavy hearts, we share that Tammy Lynn Fillmore passed away on February 14, 2026, at the Halifax Infirmary. Surrounded by family, she entered into peaceful rest.

Born in Springhill, Nova Scotia in October 1971, Tammy entered the world alongside her twin brother, Jody Fillmore.

Tammy was the cherished daughter of Brian and Deborah Fillmore. She was a beloved sister to Brian Fillmore Jr. (Anna), Michael Fillmore, and Jody Fillmore.

She is survived by her three children, Jessica Taylor (Luke), Nathan Terrio, and Keegan Riemersma, and by her grandchildren, Jack and Aislin (twins), Nora, Isla, and Paisley, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Tammy shared her life with her partner of 11 years, Rob Watson.

For much of her adult life, Tammy lived with significant health struggles. Even through hardship, she found joy in simple moments and small blessings. Her smile could light up a room, and she was known for her strong will, warmth, and spirited nature. She deeply loved her pets, especially her dog Kash and her cat Miss Kitty, who brought her comfort and companionship.

Tammy was predeceased by her biological father, Mike Madore and maternal grandparents, Art Webb, June and Guy Brown, and by her beloved “Nanny,” Darlene Fillmore.

Tammy had faith in Jesus, and her family finds comfort in knowing she is now at peace, free from pain and suffering, and will soon be in her eternal home. As Scripture reminds us:

“In My Father’s house are many mansions… I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.” — John 14:2–3

In keeping with Tammy’s wishes, there will be no funeral service. Her ashes will be laid to rest in accordance with her final request. Donations in Tammy’s memory may be made to the Springhill Salvation Army.

She will be remembered with love and held forever in the hearts of those who knew her
