Obituary For Jamie Sidney Robb
ROBB, Jamie Sidney 61 of Falmouth (nee Dartmouth).
It is with great sadness that we announce his sudden passing on July 12, 2025.
Born in Halifax, he was the son of Thelma Mary Ann MacDonald and the late Ernest Sidney Robb.
Besides his mother, he is survived by his sister Jane Ann Robb.
He was predeceased by his father Ernest (1986), brothers - Ernie (2014) and Sidney (2023).
Jamie graduated from Mount Saint Vincent University with his Bachelors of Business Administration in 1994.
His career as a project manager started with Eduplus and later he did work terms for the Government of Nunavut, returning twice as a teacher.
Jamie also was an international student host father and enjoyed helping young people with their university studies.
Jamie was a ferocious reader from an early age. His mother said she had to put books in his crib to get him to nap. He had a voracious appetite for science fiction and fantasy novels. Lately he enjoyed watching historical documentaries.
Cremation has taken place. Interment will be at a later date.
Donations in Jamie’s memory can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society as he was a lymphoma survivor.
