Obituary For Roy Joseph Boudreau

Roy Joseph Boudreau

Passed October 5, 2025 at the age of 85

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our brother Roy who passed away peacefully at the QEII with his wife Anne (Aucoin) of 45 years and family by his side.

Roy was born in Halifax to Alexander and Catherine Boudreau. He is survived by brothers Leonard (Henerine) Boudreau, Doug (Nancy) Boudreau, Calvin (Jayne) Boudreau, Sisters Barbara Keefe and Della (Gary) Hardiman. His brother-in-law David (Susan) Aucoin. There are also many nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces, nephews too numerous to list.

Roy was predeceased by his parents, Brother Albert (Irene) Boudreau, Patrick (Sally) Boudreau, Sister-in-Law Sally Boudreau, As well as his parent-in-laws Janette and Henry Aucoin, brother-in-law Richard Aucoin and sister-in-law Helen Aucoin.

Roy attended St. Mary’s Boy’s School and St. Patrick’s High School. Roy worked for Domtar Paper Products as a General Manager for many years until he retired. Roy was an avid baseball player, playing on many leagues as well as enjoying golfing, bridge, cribbage, chess and cards.

Cremation has taken place and with adhering to Roy’s wishes, there will be no service.

Please take a moment to remember a pleasant memory you may have of Roy that puts a smile on your face – that would be nice. We, as Roy’s family, are sure that there are many fond memories out there!
