Condolences

My sincere condolences to Lionel's family. I was so deeply saddened when I got the news of his passing. I knew Lionel for several years before I left Canada. I was able to see him in 2020 and of course he greeted me with that same beautiful smile and contagious laugh. I fondly remember our conversations that day and the day I was leaving to come back to Virginia. He convinced me to spend some time with him that afternoon to talk. I feel so blessed to have known this kind, generous and considerate man, who never had a negative word or showed any animosity toward anyone. Family please know that Lionel is smiling that smile and resting in peace with his loved ones. See ya later, Beloved!

Hello Lionel, I am sorry to hear of your passing. I remember you well as a very young boy growing up on Brunswick St. We use to play together at the deaf & mute playgrounds on Gottigen St. Myself you and Ivan use to go there. You were a very great kid growing up, and always very kind to me, so you will be missed by all you touched and I hope your kindness and generosity grows in your children and grandchildren forever, RIP my friend until we meet again🙏 Brian & Judy McCarthy Lunenburg, N.S.
