Obituaries

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved sister/aunt Christina (Teena) Hunter on June 11, 2025.

Born in Halifax August 1950, Teena was pre-deceased by her mother Veronica Wells, step father Joshua Wells, father Raymond Cluney, brothers Raymond (Buff), Shannon Cluney and her great niece Gabrielle Walters.

Teena is survived by her son Lee (Nancy) Hunter, grandson Ethan Hunter, brother Darren (Darlene) Cluney, sister Crystal (Michael) Donovan, niece Jennifer, nephews Joshua, Bradley and Michael. Also her great nieces Taylor, Brooklyn, Emma Walters, Madison Wells and many other nieces and nephews.

Teena had a very long career in the hospitality industry, a great love for her family, animals and reptiles, often times she would laugh and say " I love animals more than people". She was the one who would help you celebrate your greatest achievements, be there with a warm hug through your biggest heartbreak and everything in between. Teena loved her family more than anything, especially her sister Crystal and her children and enjoyed spending time at their house with "all the noise and chaos" !

We ask that you consider donating to your local SPCA in her memory. Celebration of life will take place at a later date.
