Obituary For Linda Marie Hendsbee

It is with great sadness that we the family announce the passing of Linda Marie Hendsbee at Dartmouth General Hospital. Linda was born in Sherbrooke, Nova Scotia and raised in Little Liscombe, Nova Scotia. Linda worked at Portland Street Mc Donald’s and Ruggles towing until retirement.

She enjoyed knitting, baking, cooking, bingo and playing cards. She especially enjoyed being a member of the Lake Echo Lioness. Linda loved to travel with niece Rosemary, most notably down south and out to Vancouver to visit Douglas, Ricky and Cathy.

She is survived by her Sons Gregory (Jenny) Hendsbee and Jeffrey (Ashley) Hendsbee, Sister Darlene (Johnny) Burgoyne, Brothers Lawrence (Barb) Rudolph and Gary (Janet) Rudolph. In- laws Eleanor Rudolph, Carol Rudolph, Shirley Rudolph and Gerald Smith. Grandchildren: Lucas, Emma, Jane, Clare and Rayna Hendsbee, Great- Grandson Bernard. Linda is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bernard and Myrtle (nee Bezanson) Rudolph; Brothers Douglas, Eldon, Grant, Raymond, Frankie Jack and Sister Diane Smith.

Thank you to the Dartmouth General Hospital for the wonderful care Linda received.

As per Linda’s wishes there will be no funeral or service.

    I am sad to hear of Linda's passing and was fortunate to talk with her on the phone a few days before she passed away. It was fun as a kid back in the 70s to see her in Liscomb at Nanny and Grampy's house when all the uncles and aunts and cousins would be there on the weekend. Guitars played and people sang and drank rum by the wood-stove on Saturday nights. May she rest in peace, Mark Rudolph
