Obituaries

Lloyd Campbell, 89 of Halifax Nova Scotia passed away July 28th 2025 at the queue, 2, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia to Danny and Jesse (Mcphee) Campbell.

Lloyd is survived and missed by his loving wide Pearl Campbell and his daughter Shauna, his brothers Charles Campbell of Halifax, Leonard Campbell of Glace Bay and his sister Lorraine Campbell (Davidson) (little Rosa) of Glace Bay.

Forever cherished and remembered by his nieces and nephews and his cousin John Campbell who was considered a brother to him. And also by to beautiful ladies he thought of as sisters, Gladys Milley and Janice Barett.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Danny Campbell, sister June Cyr (Campbell).

Llyod, as he was affectionately known, was a shining light in all the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. He was a talented artist and had a great passion for the outdoors and loved fishing and spending time with his family, something that was so very important to him. His journey on earth was marked by love, compassion and unwavering faith in God. His passing has left a void in the hearts of his family, friends and many more whose lives have been touched by him. He had a rare gift for making others feel special by just being around him. Although Lloyd's physical presence may no longer grace our lives, his spirit will continue to inspire and uplift us. May his memory be a blessing and may we carry forth his legacy of love, kindness, compassion and a zest for life and all that we do.

Cremation has taken place, donations may be made to the charity of your choice and he will be buried at a later date. At forest haven on the Glace Bay Sydney highway.
