It is with heavy hearts and extreme sorrow we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Douglas Warren Goodall on December 29, 2025 at the age of 71 while at the Dartmouth General Hospital with his wife, children, and family by his side.

Born to Robert Goodall of Halifax and late mother Melita (Greenough) Goodall. Douglas was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He always had a joke, loved guitars, signing, he would help anyone if he could and was a very strong willed man and told you how it was.

Douglas was predeceased by mother, brother Robert Allen Goodall, and step mother Rita. He is survived by his wife Joy (Corbin) Goodall, children daughter Lisa Julian , son in law Zane Julian, daughter Melissa Turner, son in law Alex Turner, daughter Angie Goodall. His 9 grandchildren: Leah, Zachary, Braydan, Shay-Lynn, Xander, Faith, Austin, Dawn, and Xavier who he loved all dearly. Brothers Jim Goodall, sister in law Edna, Bruce Goodall, and sisters Ella Nickerson, brother in law Joe Nickerson, and Melanie Goodall along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Celebration of life will be held at a later date. Donations can be made to the IWK Children's Foundation, and The Heart And Stroke Foundation.
