Obituaries

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dwayne Thomas Wilson of Halifax. The son of John Wilson, Shirley Spicer and step-son of Reg Spicer. He is predeceased by his parents and brothers Kenny and Brian.

Dwayne was a talented painter, who worked various trades. He will be fondly remembered by his friends as someone always willing to lend a hand and help a fellow person in need. Dwayne was a skilled athlete (specifically baseball and hockey) as well as an avid sports fan and lifelong supporter of the Toronto Maple Leafs. Even during his final days, he didn’t miss watching a playoff game.

He is survived by his children, two older brothers, four younger sisters and many nieces and nephews. His family would like to thank his life-long friend Tommy for helping with his care during his declining health.

A funeral mass and reception will be held July 7th at 10am at St. Agnes Church (6903 Mumford Road) followed by a private burial.
