Obituaries

It's with very heavy hearts we announce the passing of George Arthur (Art) Loggie on April 22 2026.

Art was born in Miramichi, N.B. in July 1955. He felt great pride in having deep roots in the community. Art was a huge fan of cars whether he was working on them, driving or watching racing with his son in law Justin. He also loved swimming, fishing and animals. Art leaves behind his daughter Meghan and her partner Justin.

Art is predeceased by both of his parents George(1993) and Lorna(2007) Loggie as well as his wife Ann(2012)

Art had a 40 year career at Loblaws starting in the warehouse and worked his way to IT Analyst. He made lifelong friends within the company and absolutely loved what he did. There was nothing he couldn't fix.

Art was the most selfless person you could meet and he would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need.

He will be remembered as an amazing husband, father and dog grandfather.
He leaves a deep hole in our hearts.
Donations can me made in his name to an animal rescue, the SPCA or charity of your choice.
