  • 07/28/2023

Sandy & family, Words, however kind, can't mend your heartache. Lesley was a great woman / wife/ mom/ grandmother... ....and we know your lives will never be the same without her. She has left you all with so many wonderful memories. Our faith is certainly tested at times like this. It's difficult to understand a loss like this, but we need to be mindful of the true blessing that she was to you. Someone so special can never be forgotten. Please know how much we share your grief. It is a very sad time for all. Keep her precious memories close to you hearts and minds, especially in the rough days & nights ahead. Talk about her, share stories about her; some which will make you laugh; others no doubt will bring you to tears. When you've loved someone your whole life. . . You can be sure their love surrounds you still. "Grandpa always said that when we get to Heaven, all the cats & dogs & everyone who ever loved us, will be there waiting at the gate. I really like that. May it comfort you to know that your loved one is in the company of friends & family .. .. both old and new." Sending deep sympathy and much love, Brian & Judy McCarthy, Maplewood, NS

We first met in the early 70's when we worked at Scotia Square and then she married our friend Sandy. What a couple. Always crossing paths at MicMac AAC, the Dartmouth Market, and Michael Wallace concerts, we caught up where we left off. I will truly miss her beautiful smile, her wit and her zesty disposition. Sandy, Sarah, Adam & Family: We were shocked and devastated to hear of Lesley's passing. Our Sarahs started primary together and along with Lin and Janice became "the Tea Bags". Then, we became part of a group of 11 Mic Mac Mothers which still continues 32 years later. We got together yesterday and shared memories, tears and laughter. Our hearts are broken but we will never forget her and her wicked sense of humour, her kindness, and tender heart. We know that her strength will carry on through you, Sarah and Adam and her beloved Grandkids. Sending much love to you Sandy. Rest In Peace our dear friend, Lesley. Coleen & Dick Sullivan
