Obituary For Michael Andrew Sheen
Michael Andrew Sheen, 64, of Beaver Bank, Nova Scotia, passed on January 17, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. He is the son of Peter and the late Patricia Sheen.
Along with his father, Michael will be forever missed by brothers: Joseph (Gail), Quinn (Megan) and Daniel (Kimberley); nieces and nephews: Ashley and Benjamin (Terry) Sheen; Bradley Metzler, Emily (Aaron) and godson Clayton Sheen (Katherine); Julia and Thomas Sheen. Michael was a father figure to Terry Kaulback (Rhonda).
Although Michael trained as a carpenter, he spent most of his career as a bartender/manager at various establishments in HRM. He shared his carpentry skills many times with family and friends.
No funeral will be held. A private ceremony will take place at a later date.
Donations to the Terry Fox Foundation would be gratefully accepted.

I've known Mike for over 25 years, and he has always been one of the kindest people you could ever meet. We worked together on many renovation projects over the years at his properties in Dartmouth, Truro, and Beaverbank. We shared a lot of great times and plenty of laughs together. I feel lucky to have known him and will truly miss him. Thoughts go out to his family.

Mike helped me get my driver's license back and got me interested in the trades. I used to help him out when he needed a hand, my condolences, he was a good buddy.
