MacKinnon, Robert Bruce

It is with sad hearts that we announce the passing of Robert MacKinnon of Dartmouth at the age of 62. Rob passed away after a brief battle with cancer.

After working many years in the automotive parts and repairs he found his dream job with his work family at Laurie’s Complete Automotive where he enjoyed his 4 legged furry customers that always came to visit him for treats.

He enjoyed fishing and playing a friendly poker with the “boys” and teaching courses on the weekends. His greatest pleasure was his children and grandchildren.

Rob is survived by his wife of 37 years Karen his children Matthew (Larissa) Corey (Kristine).

Grandchildren Bradley, Faye and Lily-Anne. As well as his brother Danny and sister Wendi and many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by parents Bruce and Sylvia (Hatherly) MacKinnon.

As per his wishes there will be no service or wake.
