We met Boots quite some time ago at the Red Fox, Rusty Anchor bar in Shad Bay and the latest bar was the Bay Landing. as many others have. Boots was a very personable and fun loving guy who loved everyone who crossed his path. We always had great conversations with him during our visits. He will be sadly missed by many. May the sorrow you feel in your hearts lighten by the love that surrounds you all during this difficult time. Know that you will always have the wonderful memories to cherish and comfort you. She is resting peacefully with loved ones that have gone before her. God's love and many prayers are all around you, now and for as long as it takes. Suzanne and family, so sorry to hear of Boots passing. Jim thought highly of Boots, he may have been one of the ones at times he would like to see leave. But honestly I know Boots was of comfort for Jim when he was sick at times and I so appreciated his taking the time to talk with him. I did not know Boots that well but he seemed to me like a gentle giant. He will be missed by so many. So sorry you are going through this loss. Rest in Peace Boots. Cherish those memories.

Boots was the first person Scott and I met here, on an impromptu date where we stopped at The Bay Landing. From that point on seeing Boots behind the bar always made us smile. I will miss being called Mrs. SMyers, and hearing his laugh.
