Obituary For Philip Michael Robinson

Philip Michael Robinson 71, passed away peacefully at home the morning of September 27th with his family by his side.

Philip was the son of Audrey Hawkins and Harry Clifford Robinson; his stepmom Margaret Robinson and step father John Whitewood. He was born in Edmonton, AB.

He is survived by his loving wife Susan Robinson, children; Sarah, Jennifer and Christopher Robinson, his brothers and sisters; Stephen, Christopher and David Robinson, Amanda and Kathy Whitewood and Jillian Brown.

Philip’s legacy also includes his five grandchildren Josephine Comtois, Freya, Sylvie & Elyse Lee and Reese Robinson.

Philip lived a vibrant and exciting life.

Philip’s hobbies included fly fishing, classic yacht racing and gentlemen farming. Philip was an accomplished cook and loved raising a glass with friends.

His last wishes were to pass at home while friends and family entertained him with stories of shared experience.

Philip said goodbye with all the dignity he deserved and all the love he could have hoped for.

Philip will be greatly missed and forever remembered.

The Robinson family sends love and appreciation to the team of people at the Home Dialysis Unit in Halifax and everyone that made it possible for Philip to pass peacefully at home. Donations can be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada

There will be a Service in celebration of Philip, Friday Oct.9th, 2020 from 3pm-5pm at the Family Farm. All are welcome.

    Whenever I ran into Phil and Sue, be it the city, race week, Antigua, or a party somewhere, it always put a smile on my face because I knew we were in for stories, adventures, perhaps a wee dram and memerories forever. Thanks Phil for the memories, will miss you.
