Obituary For Terry Turple

A man with a great sense of humor, who could make you laugh and crack jokes even at the worst of times.

Terry loved the game of hockey, he played as a young man on the outside rink in the pubs with all his friends who followed him throughout his life.

As a proud grandfather he loved to watch Brody and Nathan play the game . Brody and Terry got to share the love for the bruins when they won the cup in 2011.

Painter by trade Terry would always be there for family and friends, whether they could pay or not.

He passed on his knowledge to his son Kevin and they worked happily together for many years.

Terry was predeceased by his father Murray Turple (admiral rock) mother Marion MacNutt(Lequille, Annapolis valley), Brother Gordon MacNutt (Calgary) .

As a young father his children held a special place in his heart, daughter Angela Nurse she leaned on him as a young woman, later in life he could lean on her. Son Kevin who as a child made him laugh with his terrific moonwalk dancing glove and all and later provided support when needed

Terry was always happy to help, spending time with his son in law Trent using his woodworking skills on various home remodeling projects and hanging out at the camp. He was always working hard, he always made time to enjoy playing the guitar with his buddies or working on cars or just sitting and having a beer.

Terry loved his wife Diane (Hunt) of 47 years so very much , in recent years they would go for little road trips enjoying the sites and sounds and talk of how the world around has changed.

Terry will be greatly missed by his brother Neil Turple, sisters Donna Isnor and Nancy Waller. Nieces Bev, Rolanda, Danielle, Christine, Rachel. Nephews Kenny, Chad, Darcy, David, Scott and great nephew Eddie.

The world that must now be without a loving courageous, funny person who was truly loved by his wife family and friends
