Obituary For Thelma (Tammy) Parker

With great love and deep sadness, we announce the passing of Thelma (Tammy) Parker, of Beaver Bank, on September 26th, 2025.

Tammy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend whose warmth and humor lit up every room. She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, James Parker, her sons James Jr. (Vanessa) and Michael (Megan), and her adored grandchildren Xavier, Gabriel, Bella, Eli, Sicily, Elaina, and Jaden. Her family was her greatest joy, and she poured her heart into every role she held.

Tammy was predeceased by her parents Dorothy and Donald Surette, her sister Linda Gale (Cliff Snook), and her brothers Peter Surette, Donald (Sandra) Surette, and Albert Surette. She leaves behind her sister Dorothy (James) Painting and many beloved nieces and nephews. Tammy’s family was everything to her, and she loved them all deeply. She carried them close in her heart every day, and the bonds she created will forever be cherished.

Over the years, Tammy worked in many jobs, forming lifelong friendships along the way. She was known for her deep love of a good yard sale and Value Village trip, always on the lookout for treasures. She also loved cheering on her sons at their hockey games, where her pride as a mother shone brightly.

Those who knew Tammy will forever remember her funny words and quick wit, her unshakable dislike of bugs, and the way her amazing cooking brought everyone together. She filled her family’s lives with love, laughter, and comfort, and leaves behind a legacy that will be cherished by the family she left behind.

Tammy’s passing leaves a space that cannot be filled, but her spirit will live on in the memories and hearts of those who loved her most.

At Tammy’s wishes, there will be no celebration of life or funeral service.
