Obituary For James "Harvey" MacLean

Harvey MacLean – Halifax NS (New Glasgow)

With heavy hearts that on July 22nd at age 84, we said a peaceful goodbye to a wonderful father, brother, uncle, and friend. Born in New Glasgow, Harvey attended St. Mary’s University and went on to a long career with Revenue Canada. Forever a Bruins fan and he could find the fairway with the best of them, he passed along his passions to his sons. Survived by his sons Stephen (Halifax) and Tommy (Halifax) and grandson Max, sister Betty (Rod) Flavin and brother Robert MacLean, former wife Patricia Fry and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by siblings Joe, Sonny, Ducky, Jack, Marion Collins, Isabel Power and Kaye MacDonald and parents Hugh and Loretta (Fogarty) MacLean. Special thanks to Dr. Eddy Kinley There will be no visitation by request. Private family funeral mass and burial will be held.
