Obituary For Kenneth Alan Barss

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Kenneth Alan Barss on December 13, 2021 at the age of 62.

Born in Sydney River, Ken was the son of Murray "Sedley" Barss and the late Ann Vera Barss.

Ken was a Journeyman Electrician for many years and also became skilled in many other trades such as carpentry, plumbing, painting, insulation, drywall and roofing. Ken was a "Jack Of All Trades" also gaining experience in auto repair and body work as well as trucking and heavy equipment operation.

In Ken's spare time he enjoyed camping, golf, skiing and reading. Ken loved his dog "Sheba", they were inseparable. He was also known to lift a glass of beer or two with his buddies at various local taverns and pubs.

Ken is survived by his brothers Robert, (Beijing) and David (Kathy), Halifax as well as his nephew Jeffrey (Megan) and niece Andrea Flight (Shane) and their children.
