Dear Joan, Chloe and Max, Bernie and I are very sorry to hear about Grant's passing and we send you our deepest sympathies. We will keep great memories of Grant as he was always happy to chat, always waving at us when we were driving. Paper Mill feels very empty as we were so used to see him and Jude on their daily walks. We hope that the great memories you have with him will help you all in this difficult time.

My condolences, I'm saddened to hear of Grants passing. He was a wonderful man and I'm honoured to have worked with him. We shared many laughs together, he had a way of making the closing of Bedford Rona seem more enjoyable/tolerable. My thoughts and prays are with you Joan and your family xo

Joan, Chloe and Max - There are no words to explain the emptiness we feel with Grant's passing. He was like a father to Rushdy and I and a grandfather to Tera. Tera will miss her 'Uncle Grant' helping her to fix anything and everything. He meant so much to her and to both of us. We are so grateful for the 10 plus years that we have known him and what wonderful and fun memories we have of him! He truly was an outstanding man with great qualities - he was a one-in-a million type of guy and we are honored to have been part of his life. Joan, Chloe and Max - he was so proud of you all and we really hope that you will take comfort in all the memories and good times you had with him in your lives.

Joan, I was saddened to hear of Grant's passing, it seems like just yesterday that I spoke with him at Rona. I have fond memories of working with Grant when he moved here to Nova Scotia. Love and hugs to you, Chloe and Max.

Dear Joan, Chloe and Max. Judy and I are thinking of you all constantly and hope that these loving thoughts from us and all your friends will bring you comfort. Grant was a wonderful man and a friend to everyone he met. I'll never forget the first time I drove down Acadia Mill, when we were buying the house at 44. I noticed that this guy was waving at me every time I went by. I said to Judy that this must be some friendly neighborhood. He turned out to be Grant but he was thinking I was Craig Stanfield who lived around the corner, we had the same colour van. We moved in across the street from you shortly afterwards and immediately knew we had friends for life. We all had many fine times together, numerous laughs and just plain good fun. Grant will be missed but never, ever forgotten.

Mel and I are thinking of you Joan along with Max and Chloe. So very saddened by this news. We have lots of fun memories with both you and Grant when the boys were playing hockey together. Sending you our sincere condolences.
