Obituaries

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Harold Bennett MacDonald age 85, beloved father, grand father and great grand father on Sunday January 7, 2024 at Victoria General Hospital in Halifax.

Born in North Sydney Nova Scotia on December 12, 1938, Harold was the son of the late John and Rosella MacDonald of North Sydney and the beloved grandfather of the late Danielle MacDonald.

Harold was predeceased by his brother Liam MacDonald of North Sydney. He is survived by his sister Rosella George of Halifax and his children Harold Bennett Patrick MacDonald of Halifax, Heather King of Keswick Ont, Liam MacDonald of Kitchener Ont and Val Demenna of Ont, 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the Victoria General Hospital and staff for their support during his stay.
