Obituaries

My deep and sincere condolences to all Blair's family and friends at his loss. Blair was my best friend growing up in North Sydney and was my school days roommate at Monastery's Good Counsel Academy and at St. F.X. So many memories, none more poignant than the day in grade 6 when he carried me home from school at St. Mary's School down Court St. after I got sick from a vaccine shot following my childhood Polio. Wish we could have spent more time together as years went by, as our families grew and work took us in different directions. And, played much more golf together! In my heart forever. My sincere condolences to the families of Blair Hyde. Blair was a high school room mate and the best man at my wedding. His recent medical problems were very difficult for him and was constantly in my prayers. May God Bless his family and friends with memories of when there were good times together. Thank you Laura and Stella-Marie for being care givers for Blair during his painful medical conditions.

Sending along my heartfelt condolences and caring to Laura & Ryan, who I have seen most recently in the past year, and to Sandy & Patricia, Brian & Brittany, Danny & Lyne, Bonna & family, and the many nieces, nephews and three grandsons plus the friends of Blair from North Sydney, PEI, Norway House, BC, Dartmouth, and Halifax. May Blair rest in peace. The prayer of St. Francis of Assisi has come to mind for my friend Blair. Amen.
