With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Tyrone Bradley Algerion Prevost, who passed away peacefully on December 23, 2024 at the age of 87. Tyrone was born in May 1937, a son of George Alfred and Stella May (Paris) Prevost of Newport Station, Hants.

Born the youngest of 13 siblings, Tyrone was a devoted family man, always maintaining a deep bond with his brothers and sisters. He was pre-deceased by parents George and Stella Prevost, brothers Curtis, Claude, Eric, Theodore, Graham and Keith and sisters Vera and Audrey.

Tyrone dedicated much of his career to Air Canada, taking great pride in his work and the friendships he built along the way. After retiring, he moved to Nova Scotia, where he embraced a new chapter of life, devoting his time to home renovations, gardening, cooking, outdoor adventures and trips around the province to visit family. He had a passion for reading, traveling, boating, and camping, always seeking new experiences and enjoying nature.

Above all, Tyrone was a loving father, grandfather, and companion. He cared a great deal about his grandchildren and would spend many hours talking with pride about their accomplishments. He cared greatly about his children, helping them with advice from his life experience and financially when needed. Self-sacrificing and generous, his legacy will be the financial security he provided for his children and grandchildren.

His love, generosity, and adventurous spirit will be deeply missed but never forgotten. A celebration of life will be held at a future date and location where family and friends will gather to honour his memory.

Tyrone will be remembered for his kind heart, generous spirit, and unwavering commitment to family.
